Meet Coach Eve
Eve is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, and has been teaching swim lessons and coaching youth teams for over a decade. After completing 4 years on the Swarthmore College Division III swim team, she graduated and moved to Kathmandu, Nepal in 2016 as the founder and director of a summer internship abroad program. While there, she fell in love with coaching as an assistant swim coach at the American embassy school and decided to make it her career upon her return to the United States in 2019.
In both in the United States and abroad, she coached youth teams at all levels, from non-competitive recreational swimmers to internationally competitive age group athletes, some of whom represented Nepal at the 2018 Asian Games and the 2020 Olympics. She has lived in California since 2021 and is currently the Director of Development Programming at San Clemente Aquatics Team.
Eve strongly believes that it is important to work with young athletes develop an appreciation for hard work, responsibility, and character in addition to working on their physical and technical skills. She is particularly invested in helping athletes of all ages cultivate a positive relationship with fitness and competition alongside their love of swimming.
When she’s not poolside, you can find Coach Eve at one of her many recreational hobbies - you might catch her bouldering, snowboarding, or trail running in the beautiful hills of South Orange County.
